Aydin Bal is a doctoral student in the Special Education program with an emphasis on emotional/behavioral disorders at Arizona State University (ASU). He holds a B.S. degree in Psychology from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey and an M.A. degree in Special Education from ASU. He worked for 3 years as a psychologist. He is currently the president of Teacher Educators for Children with Behavioral Disorders (TECBD) and teaching Orientation to Education of Exceptional Children (SPE 311) at ASU. His primary research interests include psychological traumas and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), juvenile offenders with mental health disorders, and qualitative research methods.
