Veronica Bordes is a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at Arizona State University and a Ford Foundation Fellow. She has a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and has a M.Ed. from Arizona State. Her specializations are in assessment and multicultural research. Her interests are in working with children and families, counseling Latinos, and multicultural competence. Her current research projects include topics in academic persistence of college students, mentoring, parenting programs, immigrant stressors, and Latina gender roles.
