Kimberly A. Eversman is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies department at Arizona State University. Her undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education and German from Luther College, Decorah, IA. In 2000, she spent a semester at Humboldt University in Berlin Germany. There she studied linguistics and education. She also worked as a teaching assistant at the Carl von LinneSchule. In 2007, she was awarded a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus in Critical Pedagogy, from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.

Kimberly has 6 years of classroom experience as a third grade teacher. She was also an active member or various accreditation boards in the Twin Cities area.

Kimberly’s research interests include education for social justice, democratic learning communities, and youth activism.
