Sandra Franco

Sandra Franco is a doctoral student in the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Curriculum and Instruction program, College of Education at Arizona State University. She received a bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Texas at El Paso. She was an elementary bilingual teacher for 6 years and then received a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics Education at ASU. Her research interest are critical pedagogy and cultural studies. She co-teaches Culture and Schooling and is also the graduate assistant for the College of Education Film Festival, which critically examines images of students, teachers and schools.
