Trisha Fritz

Trisha is a doctoral student in the division of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. She completed a Master's degree in sociology at Arizona State University. Her interests include the sociology of education, high-stakes testing and its impact on the education of students, the achievement gap between various ethnic groups, and the various ways that society replicates societal capital through education. She works as a research associate for the state of Arizona on a honors project for high school students. She is currently working on a video ethnography on high stakes testing in AIMS and its social, emotional and academic impact on students.
