Ildiko Laczko

Ildiko Laczko obtained her Ph.D. in Learning, in the Division of Psychology in Education, College of Education at Arizona State University in May 2002. She holds a Master's degree in Teaching, Learning and Development from the University of Arizona. Her research interests focus on teacher characteristics and their effect on student learning and performance, emergency certification and teacher preparation and training. In addition to quantitative forms of research, Ildiko is also interested in many aspects of qualitative research, including Arts Based research and Narrative forms of research. Ildiko taught a preparation seminar for the College of Education which prepares future teachers to take the Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessments. Her dissertation analyzed student performance on the Stanford Nine for emergency certified teachers and traditionally certified teachers. Ildiko is currently employed as a Research Associate in the Research and Policy Division at the Arizona Department of Education.
