Kelly E. Maxwell

Kelly E. Maxwell, Ph.D., is faculty member and Associate Director in the Program on Intergroup Relations at the University of Michigan. She is a recent graduate of the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies program at Arizona State University and worked for three years in their Intergroup Relations Center coordinating Voices of Discovery, the university's intergroup dialogues program. Kelly has a Master of Science degree in Higher Education in Student Affairs from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace College in Political Science and Business. Her research interests include policy and intergroup relations issues in higher education, particularly related to the critical examination of white privilege and its role in maintaining systems of inequity in education.
