James A. Middleton

Dr. Middleton is an Associate Professor in the Division of Curriculum and Instruction at Arizona State University. He teaches mathematics education courses including methods of teaching mathematics and graduate courses in the psychology of learning mathematics. Dr Middleton's research focuses on motivation, children's mathematical thinking and technologies applied to the teaching and learning of mathematics. Dr. Middleton also serves as Associate Director of the Center for Research on Education in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology.
